Not with us! We use the advanced system, which features a specialized cooling tip. Most clients describe the sensation as a gentle warming or a light "flick" against the skin. It is significantly more comfortable than traditional waxing or older laser technologies
• For Hair Removal: Usually 6 to 8 sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart to catch every hair in its growth cycle.
• For Skin Concerns (Rosacea/Acne/ Pigmentation): Often 3 to 6 sessions depending on the severity of the pigmentation, redness or breakouts.
Yes! At our Newhall clinic, we use medical-grade Nd:YAG laser technology, which is the "gold standard" for safety and effectiveness on all skin types, including darker skin tones (Fitzpatrick scales 1–6)
For hair removal, please shave the area 24 hours before your session. Avoid waxing, plucking, or tanning (including fake tan) for at least 2–4 weeks prior, as the laser needs to see the pigment in the follicle to work effectively.
Generally, no! You might experience slight "glow" or redness (similar to a mild sunburn) for a few hours, but you can return to your normal activities immediately. We just ask that you avoid hot baths, gyms, and direct sun exposure for 24–48 hours post-treatment.
Your safety is our priority. A consultation and patch test allow us to check how your skin reacts to the laser settings, ensuring we get the best results without any adverse reactions.
Absolutely. We have helped many clients manage hormonal hair growth. While PCOS means you may need more regular maintenance sessions, laser is incredibly effective at thinning the hair and reducing the "shadow" on the skin.
You can find us in a private, professional setting at High Chase, Newhall, Harlow, CM17 9AD. There is convenient local parking available!
